Winter is here bringing in frosted windows, chapped hands and footing that is as dodgy as a 1996 Toyota. Nevertheless the Rec is here to make things as comfortable as possible by introducing weekly meditation sessions. Beginning Thursday, January 14th, we will be hosting a 15-minute meditation session in the Rec Center Conference Room at 12:15pm. We are striving for these sessions to encourage the habit of meditation by hosting this 7-week program every Thursday. He hope you put this practice into fruition as we get back into the swing of things after the holiday break.
With the first week of classes under our belt, we may feel overwhelmed with future projects, papers, presentations and hoping our car makes it through sub zero temps. Meditation slows the mind down and helps buffer this anxiety. We hope to see you all there channeling your inner turmoil as you experience the clarity and serenity in which meditation instills. Lets make this semester the best one yet with renewed energy and focus. Peace.
