Oakland University’s fitness center provides exceptional training opportunities for all who want to improve their fitness or who wish their fitness goals to form into tangible reality. With the space to accommodate well over 100 people and with a wide range of hours during the week and on the weekends, fitness enthusiasts never experience training withdrawals while at Oakland University. The fitness center houses up to 45 cardio focused equipment including treadmills (2 of which are self-powered), ellipticals and stationary bicycles. If you are one of the bulkier types, free weights are in abundant supply reaching 100lbs, as well as squat racks and TRX to keep your resistance training in check. Knowledgeable fitness assistants are available at all times to answer any questions you may have and coincidentally act as convenient spotters to help you on your quest for gains. The fitness center is located downstairs of the Rec, and to the right.
